Meclizine Hydrochloride is an antihistamine which shows marked protective activity against nebulized histamine and lethal doses of intravenously injected histamine in guinea pigs. Its activity is relatively weak in inhibiting the spasmogenic action of histamine on isolated guinea pig ileum.
