What is Tindazole?

Tinidazole is a synthetic antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent. It is 1-[2-(ethylsulfonyl)ethyl]-2-methyl-5-nitroimidazole, a second-generation 2-methyl-5-nitroimidazole, which has the following chemical structure:

Tinidazole pink oral tablets contain 250 mg or 500 mg of tinidazole. Inactive ingredients include microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, pregelatinized starch, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, polyethylene glycol, triacetin, FD&C Red 40, FD&C Yellow 6

Tinidazole is indicated for the treatment of trichomoniasis caused by The organism should be identified by appropriate diagnostic procedures. Because trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted disease with potentially serious sequelae, partners of infected patients should be treated simultaneously in order to prevent re-infection

It is advisable to take tinidazole with food to minimize the incidence of epigastric discomfort and other gastrointestinal side-effects. Food does not affect the oral bioavailability of tinidazole

Alcoholic beverages should be avoided when taking tinidazole and for 3 days afterwards

Convulsive seizures and peripheral neuropathy, the latter characterized mainly by numbness or paresthesia of an extremity, have been reported in patients treated with Tinidazole Tablets. The appearance of abnormal neurologic signs demands the prompt discontinuation of tinidazole therapy.

Clonazepam Description Each single-scored tablet, for oral administration, contains 0.5 mg, 1 mg, or 2 mg Clonazepam, USP, a benzodiazepine. Each tablet also contains corn starch, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and povidone. Clonazepam tablets USP 0.5 mg contain Yellow D&C No. 10 Aluminum Lake. Clonazepam tablets USP 1 mg contain Yellow D&C No. 10 Aluminum Lake, as well as FD&C Blue No. 1 Aluminum Lake.
